On July 15th, the Research Ethics Committee (REC) at the University of Juba convened for a pivotal meeting focused on developing the inaugural research ethics policies for the institution. The gathering was led by Prof. Andrew Kiri, the esteemed Director of Research and Publication, who also serves as the chairman of the REC. During the meeting, committee members engaged in thorough discussions, collaboratively drafting comprehensive policies aimed at guiding ethical research practices at the university.
